'Maybe Baby' Story Code '65428' by Paul Brown and Julie Brown

11th March 1963: Sam leaps into the body of Buster, a muscle-bound bouncer from the ‘Girls A-Go-Go’ nightclub who is helping stripper Bunny O'Hare steal her baby girl back from the father, Reed Dalton. Buster and Bunny head for Clayton, New Mexico, planning to leave the infant Christie with her auntie Margaret; meanwhile, Reed sets off in pursuit with police officers Sheriff Barries and Deputy Sutton, determined to get his child back. Uncomfortable with looking after a baby, Sam is surprised to discover that the child can see his real form, and the projection of Al. He then learns that Bunny is an inveterate liar: the stripper is not Christie’s real mother, merely a child-minder who formed an attachment to the baby – making her and Sam kidnappers facing a twenty-year jail sentence for child abduction…
